Successful women all have one thing in common
They ask for help. They face setbacks, but understand challenges are just another word for opportunities. They are passionate and focused. They take risks…and they take care of themselves. They have put aside perfectionism. They never settle. And they never give up on themselves.
Success tools for women
In my careers as a newspaper executive, CEO of the local chamber of commerce and now as the president of my own 12-year-old coaching practice, I have seen so many women who short-changed themselves, who got stuck in ways that ate away at their self-confidence, self-esteem and sense of worth.
These women — some of whom are single moms — not only hold down a full-time job (or more than full time) but are also expected to handle all the traditional roles, too.
Doing it all…with a smile.
As a result, they are exhausted. They are starved for time. They don’t know how to say no. They are resentful, angry and disappointed. They feel like failures. Everyone else’s needs come before their own. And if they do, on rare occasions, say, “This is MY time. This is what I want to do,” they feel guilty. And then they feel guilty for feeling guilty!
It’s time to make a change
Let’s work together to get off that merry-go-round and help you get to where you want to be.
Here are programs that can help.
- Individual coaching: One-on-one coaching specifically tailored to your issues. We work together to come up with a plan — your plan, not your spouse’s, mom’s, kids’, or boss’ plan — to get you where you want to be. Not sure where you want to be, but know you need to make a change? Perfect! We can work on that, too. A variety of levels are available to suit your time and monetary investment. Coaching is confidential and takes place weekly, over the phone, for three weeks a month.
- Group coaching for women entreprenuers: Women business owners have unique challenges, not the least of which is effective time management and getting the biggest return on investment for their time. The agenda is set by the group, which could change from session to session, but what remains constant is support from other women, brainstorming, sharing best practices and and accountability. The group meets twice a month by phone. What happens in the group, stays in the group!
- Job-seekers: Online learning for women who have been downsized, out of the job market for a while, employed and looking for a new job or new graduates looking for their first position. Learn at your own pace.
